26 Weeks Preggo!!

We only have 14 weeks left if we make it all the way to the due date! We're so excited!! Over the weekend we painted Caylee's nursery and I bought the material to start sewing her bedding! This weekend Cooper and I are going to enjoy our last Valentine's Day without having to find a babysitter.

Fetal development in pregnancy week 26: Up until the 26th week, your baby's eyes have been sealed shut, but now they open and blink. Its hearing is fully developed. As the fetus reacts to sounds, its pulse increases. Your baby will even move in rhythm to music. She can now see, hear, smell, taste and feel. All her senses are intact and will continue to develop after she is born. To support the fetus's growing body, the spine is getting stronger and more supple. Your baby weighes 1.7 pound, is 14 inches in length, and has now completed two-thirds of her stay in Hotel Womb.
