We’re 23 weeks pregnant and doing great! Caylee has been kicking a lot and I still get super excited every time I feel her kick! It’s the best feeling ever!! I’ve had a few Braxton Hicks contractions this week, so my body is preparing itself for labor. This weekend I hope to pick out the fabric for Caylee’s bedding. It’s really a tough decision. If you have any ideas or suggestions I’d love to hear them!
Fetal development in pregnancy week 23: By week 23, the blood vessels in her lungs, important for breathing outside the womb, are developing. Her lips are becoming more distinct, and her eyes continue to develop, though they still lack color. Also, by this week, the bones in her middle ear start to harden.
